FALCAO PLAYS DOWN
Falcao a Colombia international, hits a double against Bahrain on Thursday, reveals that, he is focused on Manchester United as speculation over his future continues.
The Manchester United skilled striker Radamel Falcao has played down speculation over his transfer to Juventus and claim he is very focused on playing for Louis va Gaal’s team.
29-year-old striker has greatly foiled in the Premier League since his big-money loan move from AS Monaco with a return of only four goals in 19 games from all competitions.
“Juventus looking for me? They talk a lot, but now I’m focused 100% on Manchester United”, he told Colombia’s Radio Caracal.
Since February, Falcao has been left out of Van Gaal’s United starting line-up. He admitted earlier this week that he needs to be at a club where he can play more regularly and, once again, repeated his desire for more first-team football with just eight games left to play this season.
Falcao says: “Before the end of the season there are some crucial matches and I hope that this situation will change”.
